Dear YSA 10th Stake,
Our stake has been given the opportunity to serve on the Orem temple grounds as part of the exterior landscape service from the hours of 6-8pm on July 30th at the end of this month.
Here is an excerpt from the letter sent to our stake by the Orem Temple Presidency in regard to the assignment:
"We ask that your stake provide a total of 30 volunteers each day with an expected length of service of 2 hours. Volunteers are not required to be endowed to serve on the grounds of the temple. Families and youth are welcome. The following information should be shared with those who agree to serve:
On Wednesday, they should arrive between 5:50 pm – 6:00 pm.
They are to park in the back (East) parking lot areas.
They should come wearing work clothes including pants and close-toed shoes.
They are to meet for instructions in the grounds building on the East side of the temple.
The temple has some hand tools and gloves available for use, but members are welcome to bring their own if they prefer.
Members are encouraged to bring water bottles to stay hydrated while out working on the grounds.
At the end of their assignment, they will return temple owned tools to the grounds building."
This is a great opportunity to serve on temple grounds for our stake. As noted above, we are looking for 30 volunteers to serve on the grounds that day. to ensure we have enough people to help serve, I've created a sign-up sheet. I need all of your help to relay the message and pass along the link to your wards! Can each bishopric help me out with the following?
Relay the message to your wards today and share the sign up link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1u0J-iIRs0t99y3gQZjYPD57Oe-9epbfJYDAMXuFIIX0/edit?usp=sharing
Share again with ward announcements this upcoming Sunday and the following on 7/20 and 7/27
Thank you for your support and help with this!
