Dear YSA 10th Stake members our stake will be offering two of the Church-sponsored Self-Reliance classes: Emotional Resilience and Personal Finance. A kickoff fireside will be held on Sunday, October 16, at 7:00pm at the Costco North chapel. During the fireside, the self-reliance program will be introduced, and course groups will be formed. We invite all stake members to participate in one of these courses.

Nelson, (April 2020 General Conference, An Especially Noble Calling) Self-reliance courses are a great way to put in the necessary effort to receive the rewards the Lord has in store for you. Please share and invite others to attend with you as a wonderful way to help them feel your love and the love of their Savior.
As your stake leadership, we invite you to prayerfully consider participating in one of these groups. Past participants report learning new skills and insights, developing a better understanding of how to let God prevail in their daily lives, and making new and lasting friendships.
Advanced registration is not necessary. During the fireside, each group will create a schedule that works best for each participant. Thanks for your examples of striving to be a little better each day. We love and pray for you.
The Stake Council
The Lord has declared. “It is my purpose to provide for my saints” (D&C 104:15) This revelation is a promise from the Lord that He is ready to extend to you the blessings of self-reliance. We invite you to diligently study and apply these principles. As you do so you will be blessed with greater Hope, Peace, and Progress.
[Self-Reliance groups] help you to learn and put into practice principles of faith, education, hard work, and rust in the Lord that will better enable you to receive the temporal blessing promised by the Lord.

As a member of self-reliance group, you will...
Attend group meetings weekly for 12 weeks
Act on personal commitments to achieve your self-reliance goals
Learn, counsel together, and provide support to other group members
Practice gospel principles and habits that lead to temporal and spiritual self-reliance

When: Sunday, October 16th, 2022 @ 7 P.M.
Where: Costco North Chapel - where stake interviews are conducted each Wednesday
